Vittoria is the pioneer and world leading manufacturer of cotton casing tires. As a material, cotton helps reduce the weight of the cover while offering high protection and grip at the same time. To increase the overall strength of the carcass, Vittoria uses Corespun yarn, which is a particular type of yarn made from blended cotton and aramid fibers. The casings are glued closer to the road surface, providing a smoother ride, easier rolling and better grip. The grade of weave used in a tire casing is expressed in threads per inch (TPI): the higher the TPI number, the finer the cords, the denser the weave, and the more flexible the tire.

The Vittoria Terreno Wet Tnt tire features a tread designed for wet conditions. The fast rolling alternating center lug provides good forward traction. Built-in cleanout channels direct mud and debris away from the pull point. Finally the tread (3C) for longer wear life and greater grip.
