Vittoria is the pioneer and world leading manufacturer of cotton casing tires. As a material, cotton helps reduce the weight of the cover while offering high protection and grip at the same time. To increase the overall strength of the carcass, Vittoria uses Corespun yarn, which is a particular type of yarn made from blended cotton and aramid fibers. The casings are glued closer to the road surface, providing a smoother ride, easier rolling and better grip. The grade of weave used in a tire casing is expressed in threads per inch (TPI): the higher the TPI number, the finer the cords, the denser the weave, and the more flexible the tire.

The Vittoria Terreno Mix Tnt tire features a tread profile for smooth transitions on a wide range of terrain. Open shoulder straps offer secure traction out of camber. The cotton tubular tire features a 320 TPI, the favorite tire of professional cyclists. It is made with a Graphene 2.0 compound to offer optimum grip in the wet. Finally, it has three compounds on the tread (3C) for longer life and better grip.
