Vittoria is the pioneer and world leading manufacturer of cotton casing tires. As a material, cotton helps reduce the weight of the cover while offering high protection and grip at the same time. To increase the overall strength of the shell, Vittoria uses Corespun yarn, which is a particular type of yarn made from aramid and cotton fibers combined. The guts stick closer to the road surface, providing a smoother ride, easier rolling and better grip. The grade of fabric used in a tire casing is expressed in threads per inch (TPI): the higher the TPI number, the finer the threads, the denser the fabric and the more flexible the tire.

This tire, the Vittoria Rubino pro, is all terrain and adapts to any condition. It's a high-mileage 150 TPI nylon casing. The functionalized Graphene 2.0 compound allows for greater wet grip. Finally it has three compounds in the tread (3C) to increase the useful life and better rolling.
