The radical new feel and look of our X-SYNC 2 Eagle chainring is the direct result of our drivetrain engineers studying the performance and wear properties of thousands of X-SYNC chainrings. We subjected chainrings of all sizes to countless mechanical and environmental torture, abuse and neglect, both in the laboratory and in the real world, to come up with one that would increase the performance of the Eagle transmission in any type of situation. The shape of the teeth, larger and with a positive inclination, has been designed to increase chain retention and overall pedaling efficiency, while reducing friction, noise and wear.
