• CAGE LOCK
  • With CAGE LOCK technology, changing, removing and installing wheels, as well as installing the chain, become faster and easier. Simply push the cage forward to create clearance and snap it into place.
• EXACT ACTION
  • When we launched our road technology from the ground up, we reapplied our MTB-proven 1:1 SRAM actuation ratio (shifter cable travel:shift movement). Exact Actuation helps simplify and stabilize the awkward act of balancing derailleur leg design, tooth spacing, and exact cable tension.
• ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH
  • The ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH shifter provides maximum drivetrain stability, even on the most difficult terrain. With ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH technology, derailleur bounce and chain bounce are eliminated without sacrificing precision.
• X-HORIZON
  • The 'straight parallelogram' design of the X-HORIZON derailleur limits all movement to the horizontal axis, making ghost shifting impossible while reducing the force of the derailleur. For faster, more accurate shifting, the large offset top pulley design maintains consistent chain spacing across all gears.
• X-SYNC
  • SRAM X-SYNC 1x rings offer the highest level of performance and durability. SRAM X-SYNC's tall square tooth edges engage the chain before traditional triangle-shaped teeth. The sharp, narrow tooth profile, as well as the rounded chamfer edges, help handle a deflected chain. To provide the best possible performance in muddy conditions, X-SYNC chain rings have been designed with mud-cleaning recesses for the inner chain links and rollers. Designed in Germany, X-SYNC rings are an integral part of the SRAM 1x drivetrain.
