The new DEORE XT M8100 series includes innovative features such as MICRO SPLINE cassette sprocket with 10-45T or 10-51T tooth development, HOLLOWTECH II 1x12 or 2x12 crankset, powerful 2-piston and 4-piston brakes, shifters Adjustable ISPEC-EVs, a precision 12-speed rear derailleur and derailleur, ICE TECHNOLOGIES FREEZA quick-cool rotors, and complete XC or Enduro wheelsets all tuned to the needs of today's mountain biker.

Cassette: DEORE XT 12-speed 12-speed cassettes feature the MICRO SPLINE adjustability system and are available in an option 10-45T for small gear jumps or 10-51T for maximum range. Both cassettes feature HYPERGLIDE+ technology, which allows for quick gear changes and a very quiet drivetrain. They also feature an aluminum spider that houses ten steel and two aluminum sprockets for optimal weight and durability. The CS-M8100-12 10-51T cassette weighs 470g and the 10-45T version weighs 461g.
