Push Buttons: With lateral and rotational adjustment options, the ISPEC-EV shift buttons, which are carefully screwed to the brake lever, offer the solution to personalize the pedaling sensation. For cyclists using a 2x12 configuration, the single lever (SL-M7100-IL) on the left moves the derailleur up and down with a highly precise and light movement. SLX pushbuttons are also available in a headband version.

• 2WAY-RELEASE : The operating lever of the RAPIDFIRE PLUS derailleurs is usually called a trigger, because it works like a gun, pressing the trigger. The actuation lever of the new RAPIDFIRE PLUS derailleurs of the SHIMANO ALIVIO to XTR groupsets can be actuated in the same way, but adds the possibility to activate an actuation lever by pressing with the thumb.
• INSTANT RELEASE shifting replaces the two-stage click-and-release shifting we are used to. With the INSTANT RELEASE transmission, the cable is released as soon as the lever is operated, making the gear change as quick as possible. Whether it's an upshift with a higher normal rear derailleur or a downshift with a lower normal rear derailleur, a faster shift is always a better shift.
• The RAPIDFIRE PLUS MONO lever offers intuitive and easy forward control that allows riders to shift up and downshifts using a single compact and lightweight lever. Advantages and features:
