Shimano SLX RT70 Center Lock brake disc.

The SM-RT70 Ice-Tech discs (160, 180 and 203mm) have a sandwich structure with an aluminum core inserted between 2 layers of stainless steel. The increased heat dissipation of aluminum helps reduce the disc surface temperature by around 100 degrees Celsius. Optional Ice-Tech brake pads with aluminum cooling fins can reduce brake pad surface temperature by another 50 degrees. The result is high braking power with hardly any signs of fatigue.

* Ice Tec discs provide long pad life, make less noise and have less discoloration thanks to improved heat dispersion.
* The disc contact surface has been developed to achieve excellent pad cleaning and cooling, increasing pad performance and life.
