ARS (Anatomic Reticular Support) technology, an exoskeleton that wraps and adapts to the foot, distributes efforts in a uniform and controlled way during pedaling. The new advanced closure system with double rotor TPU protection is now thinner and 10% stronger. The Extreme XC 2 continues the legend of Northwave mountain bike shoes.

ARS (Anatomic Reticular Support) technology offers an exoskeleton that wraps the feet to the most precise fit, adapting to each foot type and transferring power to the pedal in a uniform and controlled manner.

Michelin sole
Hyperlight XC sole, 100% unidirectional carbon with a stiffness index of 14.0 for maximum power transmission. Michelin rubber inserts, 28% more resistant than TPU, with Dual Layer Compound Technology for excellent grip and minimal weight. Made from 100% unidirectional carbon fiber, it is the result of biomechanical studies to place materials only where they are really needed for maximum efficiency, with very light weight and extreme rigidity. The sole studs are made with the innovative Dual Layers Compound Technology, with two compounds, one softer and the other harder, to increase flexibility, stability and grip: the first provides maximum flexibility, while the second is harder and more resistant, to improve traction and resistance

SLW3
The use of the SLW3 double rotor allows differentiated pressure between the top of the instep and the toe, for a precise and comfortable fit.
The ultra-thin anti-abrasion TPU reinforcements guarantee total protection along the entire upper.
Upper with ARS (Anatomic Reticular Support) construction, an exoskeleton that wraps the foot, distributing efforts during pedaling.
