The Magnetic Chinbar Release (MCR) system instantly transforms a full face helmet into an open face helmet, and vice versa. This is a patent-pending MET design created in collaboration with FidLock®. The Parachute MCR has truly been designed as two helmets in one. With full face coverage, it presents a sleek and aggressive look that provides total protection, while open face reflects the signature style of MET mountain helmets. Injection Visor: The injection visor is flexible to adapt to the helmet shell. This unique feature helps distribute the additional rotational force that is transferred to the neck upon impact. Additionally, the visor has two adjustable positions to allow for the placement of the mask and goggles. Removable and washable pads: The Parachute MCR also comes with two sizes of pads to help you find comfort and the perfect fit. BOA® Fit System: The BOA-FS1® features increasing fore and aft adjustment to provide a precise and adaptable fit. The tape is distributed 360 degrees around the head to avoid pressure points, thus optimizing comfort. Magnetic Fidlock®: The Fidlock® magnetic strip quick closure system allows you to secure the helmet in a simple way. MIPS® head protection system: The MIPS-C2® solution separates the outer shell from the interior of the helmet with a thin, low-friction LFL (Low Friction Layer) plastic layer that joins them with 3-4 pieces of rubber and allows the relative sliding of the helmet with respect to the head in the event of an impact, distributing the damaging rotational impacts. ASTM Certification: The MET Parachute MCR is certified by ASTM F1952-15 / F2032-15 for the shell and chin guard, in order to guarantee perfect safety both when open and in full protection mode. Ventilation: All MET helmets are known for how well ventilated they are. The 21 vents and internal Air Channeling System work synergistically with the breathable chin guard, maximizing airflow at both low and high speeds.
