The Megamo Track is a bicycle that adapts to the real needs of all users. For this reason, it comes in two different versions. The first, and following the legacy of the previous version, is a new 100mm-travel Track, the fastest or most reactive, with ambitions in the best and most prestigious competitions.
The second is a bike with a wilder air, that does not understand limitations, with 120mm of travel on both suspensions and a slightly more relaxed geometry: The Track R120 is now much more capable.
TRACK: We look for efficiency and lightness. The Megamo Track is for those of us who like to put our number on the bike and always run trying to steal seconds from the clock. We train throughout the week to be able to show off in front of our rivals. We want a fast bike.
TRACK R120: We like downhills more than uphills. We are not in a hurry to get to the places because we value enjoying the road more. We like to pedal, but what we enjoy the most is when we encounter a downward KOM. We want a bike for everything, that allows us to maintain a comfortable and effective posture.
Remote locking in 3 positions:
Suspension systems, design and kinematics:
The mono-pivot system (4Bar suspension with flexible swingarm) is capable of providing the best sensations to the most demanding competitors and those looking to experience new sensations on their bike. And, for light MTB bicycles, this solution is the one that seems best. The fact of having the shock absorber under the toptube results in a different design, evolving from the previous generation.
Something similar happens with the suspension system and its kinematic characteristics. The previous version was very oriented to XCO: taking advantage of the entire route with a leverage ratio that was regressive. This has changed in the new Track, now the behavior is progressive, in line with current trends. You only have to look at the XCO World Cup circuits to realize that the descents are more technical and the obstacles are bigger. In addition, the progressive behavior meets the objective of making the 120mm version the definitive bicycle.
The all-internal wiring of the new Track provides a cleaner look to the bike. The routing is completely invisible to the eye in both the front and rear triangle. An exhaustive development work that has concluded in an effective routing for each element: dropper post, rear brake, rear derailleur... The fact that the head tube does not have the conventional cable entry holes gives us much more rigidity in this area.
Having the capacity to carry two water bottles is essential in today's MTB. Having this feature allows us to enjoy routes with greater mileage.
Final geometries:
The chosen geometry achieves a perfect balance between the 'racing' position (it does not sacrifice power transmission when pedaling) and optimal traction on the most demanding trails.
Geometry and construction adapted according to size:
Each rider needs a bike adapted to their needs, it must be taken into account that each area of the body may have different requirements depending on the size. For this reason we have worked to achieve the perfect combination of rigidity/weight, suitable for each user according to their measurements.
