While the styling is understated, the Tyrant features countless technological advancements under the hood, including Wind Tunnel Ventilation and Mips Spherical technology. Mips Spherical uses a pair of foam layers that function like a ball and socket to redirect impact energy in a crash. One layer is EPS, which copes well with high-speed crashes. The other is a lower density EPP foam with rebound characteristics to treat low-velocity, roll-on-the-ground type spills. The added coverage of this "full cut" design further enhances protective capabilities, while taking helmet design in a new direction for riders seeking style over speed.

• Cheek Pad Vent: Allows cool, fresh air to circulate inside the helmet to help cool you down and address sweat control.
• In-Mold Hardbody Bottom Wrap Shell: The two-piece shell combines a rugged outer shell with a polycarbonate bottom shell permanently fused to the liner for added duability without excess weight.
• Spherical Technology: Spherical Technology's Bell-and-Socket design, powered by Mips, helps redirect impact forces away from the brain by allowing the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during a crash. It also eliminates contact with hard plastic as it slides against the skin.
• Progressive Layering: Two different materials are used to manage impact energy, one layer is EPS, which adapts well to high-speed crashes. The other is a lower density EPP foam with rebound characteristics that address the most common low-speed impacts.
• Roc Loc Air DH Fit System: This revolutionary fit system adds a new dimension to helmet performance by improving cooling, as well as comfort and fit stability. Using a patented design that suspends the helmet slightly above the skull, Roc Loc Air DH allows cool airflow to pass directly over the head, further improving the performance of the vents and internal channeling that draws heat out of the helmet. . The fit and feel adjustments mimic the Roc Loc 5, allowing you to easily adjust the helmet's custom fit tension and fore/aft tilt in seconds with just one hand.
• Tool-Free Screw-On Visor: Easily adjustable without the need for tools or additional manipulation, and offers great vertical adjustment for stage glasses when you're not wearing them.
