The highly adjustable Roc Loc 5.5 Mips system allows you to customize the fit and feel to improve long-range stability and comfort while providing an additional measure of protection against rotational forces in the event of an angled impact. The POV visor offers 15 degrees of adjustment, and the durable polycarbonate outer shell is permanently fused to the EPS foam liner using our In-Mold construction process, to improve durability and ventilation without excess bulk.

• Integrated Mips Brain Protection System: All Giro helmets are designed to reduce energy as much as possible while meeting and exceeding strict safety standards. The goal of helmets equipped with Giro's Integrated Mips is to reduce rotational forces and improve fit and comfort by combining the Mips sliding plane with the helmet's adjustable fit system. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that can be transferred to the rider's brain in certain impacts.
• In-Mold Hardbody Bottom Wrap Shell: The two-piece shell combines a rugged outer hard shell with a polycarbonate bottom shell permanently fused to the liner for added duability without excess weight.
• Pov Plus Visor: Our Pov visor features an adjustment mechanism that allows you to move the visor up and down in indexed steps. These steps include three riding positions plus a high position for storing glasses above your forehead. The design allows you to easily adjust your visor with one hand while driving.
• Air Roc Loc 5 Fit System: This revolutionary fit system adds a new dimension to helmet performance by improving cooling as well as comfort and fit stability. With a patented design that suspends the helmet slightly above the skull, Roc Loc 5 Air allows cold airflow to pass directly over the head, further improving the performance of vents and internal channeling. The adjustments made to the fit and feel mimic the Roc Loc 5, allowing you to easily adjust the custom fit tension and fore/aft tilt of the helmet in seconds with just one hand.
• Wind Tunnel Ventilation: Giro helmets are developed using our exclusive Wind Tunnel ventilation system. This elaborate design combines active vents in the helmet shell with exhaust channels inside the helmet that push cool air over and around the rider's head while expelling heat and stale air.
