To make a full-featured shoe that rivals minimalist designs, we created the Imperial road shoe, featuring our own ultra-lightweight monofilament synchwire mesh upper that fits and feels like a second skin.

The upper of Imperial's Synchwire features Boa® IP1 dials and soft lace guides, allowing you to adjust on the fly, while reaping the benefits of the shoes' light weight. Heat-welded Teijin® TPU adds structural support exactly where it's needed, and a high-modulus Easton® EC90 SLX2 carbon fiber plate provides maximum rigidity to weight for power transfer. Our Super Natural Fit adjustable insole system is the finishing touch, allowing you to customize arch support right out of the box for luxurious comfort and optimal pedaling efficiency.

• Upper: One-piece sycnhwire upper with soft guide lace. Tejin monofilament SL welded mesh and twin Boa IP1 dyales that include 1 MM +/- micro adjustment and incremental version.
• Sole: Easton EC90 SLX2 carbon fiber sole, stainless steel hardware and replaceable heel pads
• Footbed: Supernatural fit footbed with adjustable arch support and XT2 antimicrobial fiber topsheet
• Weight: 215 grams (size 42.5).
• Boa Dials: Boa® dial systems provide quick and easy adjustment with the turn of a dial. The patented combination of a cable lanyard with nylon guides and a mechanical spool eliminates stretch, reduces weight and provides a finer fit (1mm increments) compared to traditional buckles, and also offers a macro release feature snapshot. Boa buckles are covered by a lifetime warranty against defects.
• Easton: We worked closely with Easton® engineering staff to develop proprietary outsoles that provide the most direct and powerful connection to the pedals without compromising comfort.
• Supernatural Fit Kit: The Giro SuperNatural Fit system combines a cycling-specific insole with an adjustable arch support kit. By simply choosing any of the low, medium, or high arch supports included in the kit, riders and fitters can independently adjust the arch support to improve fit and pedaling efficiency while reducing or eliminating common foot discomfort. such as hot spots, numbness and cramps. The system is available in men's and women's sizes, and incorporates X-Static (R) fibers in the footbed to combat odors and bacteria.
