BETTER STABILITY

While the traditional saddle shape encourages riders to change positions frequently for better leverage, the Argo places riders in a more planted position, resulting in greater stability and better weight distribution. The short length of the Terra Argo allows riders to sit further forward without putting undue pressure on sensitive areas. It also features an ergonomic cut that was developed using detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts.

SPECIFIC GRAVEL SADDLE

The Argo is the most versatile saddle shape, with each version suited to different riding styles. As a gravel-specific option, the Terra Argo has been designed with a compatible shell to offer a degree of flexibility. This controlled elasticity absorbs road vibrations and vibrations, providing the comfort needed to travel long distances on unpaved roads.

STABILITY AND RESPONSE

To better support the Terra Argo's flexible shell, we use our closed-loop Mobius rail system to increase structural stability and responsiveness. The Terra Argo features a wavy profile to provide the lumbar support needed for long rides and to help riders maintain their position while climbing on loose terrain. The same goes for the dropped nose design that allows riders to rotate their pelvis while pushing the nose forward for better traction and power transfer.

COMFORT FOR LONG DISTANCES

The padding is made from fizik's proprietary Type 2 foam formula, slightly thicker around the sit bone area to support a more upright riding posture. The cushioning is a little softer and more progressive than what we use in our racing saddles, providing more comfort over long distances.
