The Vento Argo R1 is a high-performance saddle designed with a short nose that improves stability and allows you to adopt a more aggressive and aerodynamic position.
When most saddles currently force the cyclist to constantly change their position to find the point of best comfort, the Argo model places the cyclist stable and with the weight better distributed from the first pedal stroke.
Being shorter allows the cyclist to sit further forward without putting excessive pressure on the perineal area. It features an ergonomic cut that was developed using detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts.
Argo is our most versatile form of saddle and each version suits different pedaling styles. As a racing option, Argo has been designed to offer a ride feel that suits racing bikes with more aggressive geometries. The padding is made with Fizik's proprietary Type 1 foam formulation, which has a lower profile and is responsive and springy for instant response and optimal power transfer.
The shape of its design with the dropped front part frees the perineal area so that the pelvis rotates forward when more power is to be exerted or for greater aerodynamics.
Argo is a product of the Fizik Concepts program, an interdisciplinary collaboration of industry-leading experts and academics conducting research and analysis on bicycle technology, design, physiology and fit in search of ways to improve cycling performance.
