The Continental Grand Prix 5000 tire is the heir to the famous Grand Prix 4000 S II and comes to improve its performance. This new version offers 12% more rolling resistance, 20% more puncture protection and is 10g lighter (in 700x25mm). It also has the new Active Comfort technology that absorbs vibrations and gives a softer feeling. This technology is present in the form of an elastomer, which allows it to absorb vibrations for maximum comfort. Continental has also introduced the new Lazer Grip sculpting technology on the Grand Prix 5000, which improves aerodynamic resistance.
