The new Record 12x2 Speed cranksets, made of carbon fiber with a unidirectional finish to ensure maximum continuity of the group's finish, maintain the Ultra-Torque locking system of the steel axle to ensure perfect power transmission. The new Record 12x2 Speed cranksets can be mounted on all types of frames , whether disc brakes or not, as they optimize the chain travel on frames with a rear stop of 130, 135 or 142 millimeters without affecting the Q factor , which remains at 145.5 millimeters.

The innovative design of the outer plate, also thanks to the profiled pin, guarantees faster and quieter deflection . The symmetrical design of the inner chainring teeth also improves stability at chain crossings .

The standard double bolt circle diameter (112 and 145 millimeters) reduces weight thanks to the increased use of carbon fiber. The fixation is carried out with eight screws that increase the rigidity of the structure. The different number of bolts of each of the three chainring combinations (34/50, 36/52, 39/53) favors uphill deflection thanks to an optimized coupling for each combination and also the special discharges inside the outer chainrings They favor deviation in the dead points of pedaling, optimizing performance.
