When designing a new derailleur, the designers at Campy Tech Lab focused on functionality, performance and compatibility . The new Record 12x2 Speed mechanical derailleur features many technical innovations, starting with the lever system designed to speed up derailleur. The effort necessary to carry out the deflection is less thanks to the division of the front link bar, which avoids contact with the limit screw and the shape of the internal semi-fork designed to adapt to the characteristics of the new chain 12 Speed.

The micro-adjustments of the derailleur position , which can be activated by the controls, allow you to avoid any contact with the chain even in case of maximum intersection. The plate placed on the outer aluminum half-fork prevents the chain from coming off when shifting uphill and increases availability in the downhill phase, as well as the silent operation of the transmission.

As far as compatibility is concerned, the new Record 12x2 Speed derailleur allows the use of caps up to 32 mm thanks to the new upper crank and the double fixing position of the drive cable.
